In March 2011 I self published ‘Wow! Glowing Bride in 30 Days: Beauty, Health & Staying Stress Free in the Last Month Before Your Big Day’ through my own imprint 30 Day Books. The book was received well with several 5 star reviews on Amazon. It is available in both print and digital. I regularly update the blog to accompany the book.

I had the pleasure of editing the second edition of 30 Day GMAT Success as well as working on the promotions for both the first and second editions.
This title reached the number 1 placement in the GMAT category on Amazon’s Kindle and is consistently in the top 3. In May 2011 we sold the Chinese language rights to a large publishing house in Taiwan. I also run the blog to accompany the book over at 30DayGmatSuccess.com.

The Stress Free Guide to Leaving Japan was written after my own uber stressful move from Japan to the US after living there for close to 4 years. There was a lack of resources available in English regarding the logistics of moving as well as the emotional aspects of an international – and cultural – transition. The 75 page eBook is for sale at SayonaraJapan.com.
This site chronicles everything I have learned, and am still learning, in the world of self-publishing, print on demand, book design, digital publishing, book marketing and writing in general.
Ladies Who Critique!
In August 2011 I beta launched my favorite project to date: Ladies Who Critique, a site for writers to find critique partners and learn more about the skill of critiquing. It’s open to everyone – despite it’s name! – and there are tons of resources and articles on the blog, useful for writers of all levels.
If you are a self published author looking for help with your book marketing strategy (including social media and author websites) I am part of the team over at 30 Day Books. Come and check us out!

Upcoming Work

I will be querying my first fiction book: a chick lit book with the working title ‘Poppy’ in late 2011.
The protagonist, Poppy, is in her early 20′s and due to graduate from a degree which she despises. She’s under pressure from her parents to continue the family business, but a visitor uncovers some family secrets that make things a lot more complicated.
